AL DRONES obtains the first Air Space Authorization to Remote Aircraft Blackbird, in the city of Itu (São Paulo State), Brazil
The Remote Aircraft Blackbird, manufactured by the American company Nightingale Security, technological partner from INLED TECNOLOGIA, its exclusive representative in Brazil, has obtained the first approval for EVLOS flights (Extended Visual Line of Sight). The process was conducted by AL DRONES, expert Company in Design & Certification of professional UAS.
The Nightingale Blackbird flights will be conducted in the city of Itu (State of São Paulo), for private security purpose. The Authorization process inside Brazilian Air Space Control Department (DECEA) has involved the Operational Agreement with the Heliport Terras II, that belongs to a nearby condominium in the vicinity of the UAS flight zone.
In order to ensure flight safety, the whole process was conducted in accordance with ICA 100-40, the regulation that controls Air Space Access by Unmanned Aircraft in Brazil. Therefore, AL DRONES has prepared the Operational Agreement between UAS operator and Heliport, Operational Risk Assessment and Impact Analysis Over Heliport Operation. These documents are required according to Section 11.1.10 of ICA 100-40, issued by DECEA.
The Blackbird Robot-as-a-Service solution is sold in Brazil by INLED TECNOLOGIA, technological partner from Nightingale Security, and has unique performance on Security and Defense market, operating automatically for perimetral vigilance of private properties. The Drone uses Drone-in-a-Box technology (automatic recharge inside a base station) and performs takeoff by command of remote pilot, in order to identify risks to property security.
